Why Learn With Lucy?
Hi, I'm Lucy and I know the agony of what you're going through. I've been there myself. This course was born out of my own experience of heartbreaking loss when our 12 year old daughter was killed in a tragic road accident.
My TED talk, 3 Secrets of Resilient People, went viral during Covid, putting it in the Top 20 most watched talks of 2020.
When Abi died, as a resilience researcher, I quickly became frustrated by the standard grief advice. I wanted to be an active participant in my grief process, doing everything I possibly could to survive, instead of a helpless passenger.
In the years since, I have become known globally for helping thousands of people find better ways to grieve. While there is no one 'right' way, there are skills you can learn to make the journey less agonising and destructive. As a senior adjunct professor I now travel the world as a professional speaker, best-selling author, and award-winning ‘pracademic’. I blog for Psychology Today and frequently write for global media.
Frankly, grief sucks! While I cannot remove all the pain, I can share everything I've learned with you, to restore hope, regain control and help you feel more like yourself again.
Ultimately, it is possible to live and grieve at the same time. I look forward to showing you how.

So many times in grief, I just wanted to be heard, other times I wanted straight up advice. Lucy is that guide, what I'd been searching for all those years"
"I particularly love how you take the academic research and mould it into something very tangible and practical - makes it so much easier to apply in our own lives"
"Thank you for sharing your hard-earned discoveries on what supports and what doesn't in this bewildering process"
